Charity Donation to Manofa
This year MANOFA team has planned to support an organization named Polygarden based out of Palakkad. We have planned to support this organization financially to assist them in purchasing their kitchen appliances
PolyGarden is a voluntary organization which provides housing and vocational training to Mentally Retarded adult males over the age of the 18 years. PolyGarden is in existence since 1981 and run by a charitable society (Directorate of Social Action). Majority of the inmates are orphans/abandoned by their family members due to their mental condition. At present the organization has 108 mentally challenged candidates.
In order to cater the need of bulk cooking for all the inmates, the organization has planned for a project to purchase new Kitchen Appliances. They have sought out our financial assistance for this project. The total cost for this project for them is 2,04,730.00 INR. Please find below itemized quotation we got depicting the break-up of each appliances cost.
a) Dosa Plate - 38,000.00 INR
b) Single Gas Burner - 9,500.00 INR
c) Vessel For Cooking - 45,000.00 INR
d) Coconut Scrapper - 9,500.00 INR
e) Juicer - 8,000.00 INR
f) 3 Burner Cooking - 24,000.00 INR
g) Grinder - 39,500.00 INR
