2025 has been a great year for MANOFA. The Manofa Charity Team continued the effort of supporting “St. Francis Port in the Storm” and “Home Again St. Johns.”. It is because of you all, Manofa members, we were able to support these organizations. Your commitment to making a positive impact in our community is truly inspiring. You will be extremely happy to hear what we have accomplished so far because of your kind heart.
Port in the Storm and Home again Monthly Food Drive
Once a month, Manofa members helped to prepare meals for kids in “Port in storm”. We served hot meals, PB&J Sandwiches and Turkey/Chicken Sandwiches, which served:
720 kids with Hot meals.
360 kids with PB&J Sandwiches.
720 kids with Turkey/Chicken Sandwiches.
1800 Meals donated in 2025
Rehabilitation Support Drive
MANOFA is grateful to share that, through our recent Rehabilitation Support Drive, we were able to raise a generous and meaningful contribution to assist one of our members during a challenging time.This achievement was made possible only because of all our members unwavering support, compassionate spirit, and wholehearted participation. Each gesture of kindness—big or small—became a powerful thread in the fabric of our community’s unity.We extend our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to every member for standing together with such sincerity, empathy, and dedication. Your collective generosity reflects the true essence of MANOFA: a family that uplifts, supports, and walks beside one another with grace and strength.
Youth Charity Drive
Port in the Storm Backpack Drive We received overwhelming support from Manofa members for this drive. We collected School supplies, Toiletries, Food, Medicine, and Personal care items. Manofa Youth helped us to assemble 15 Backpacks with these items. Youth showed their care and love by writing personalized cards for each of those Backpacks. Backpack Drive was in September.
Port in storm and Home again Sandwich Meal As part of their ongoing charity initiatives, the MANOFA Youth Team extended a heartfelt act of service by preparing and delivering fresh sandwich meals to Port in the Storm and Home Again.With remarkable enthusiasm and teamwork, 13 dedicated youth volunteers came together to make nearly 100 sandwiches, turning a simple gesture into a powerful expression of compassion. Their collective effort not only provided nourishment but also carried warmth, dignity, and hope to those who needed it most.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Donation We are so proud to share our Manofa Youth of 2025 donated $310 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital which represents about 70% of the total funds they raised through various events in 2025. This contribution came from a unanimous decision to reduce their own celebrations and expenses in order to support this cause.As the saying goes, lead by example, our 2025 Youth Team has truly set a remarkable standard for all our future youth committees. This initiative beautifully reflects the values we strive to nurture in our younger generation—kindness in action, leadership through service, and a genuine commitment to community care. We are incredibly proud of their spirit and grateful for the positive impact they continue to create.
